避免薪資仲裁，紅襪隊與左投Wade Miley 簽下了3年總額最高1925萬美元的合約，紅襪隊有第4年的選擇權。
28歲的Wade Miley原效力響尾蛇隊，去年12月中，被交易至紅襪隊，經過協商之後，為避免薪資仲裁，紅襪隊與Wade Miley 談妥新約，Wade Miley可獲得50萬美元的簽約金，今年年薪350萬美元，明年600萬美元，2017年875萬美元。
Wade Miley過去4年都效力響尾蛇隊，戰績38勝35敗、防禦率3.79，2012年16勝11敗、防禦率3.33，是他表現最好的一年，去年出賽33場都是先發，投201.1局，戰績8勝12敗、防禦率4.34。
